WHS ALUMNI
PARTY AT MYRTLE BEACH, SC
Summer - 2000

For the second year, a group of  '62 & '64 WHS friends and spouses have gathered in Myrtle Beach for a mini reunion.  This year, we stayed at the beach house "Second Chance" in North Myrtle Beach from July 22 through the 29th....what a great week.  Several of the guys played in golf tournaments each day; others did the beach thing.  And, we all sat out on the porch (one of those big, wrap-around "plantation style" porches) and talked and talked and talked.  It was a common sight to see a few of us night owls out there at 1:30 a.m., especially Elinor, Dickie and Steve.  We saw two shows during the week and went on the Barefoot Princess II dinner cruise the last night we were there.  We also frequented "Fat Harold's Beach Club."  Talk about a neat place; they have no cover charge and they play only OLD beach music.  We had a ball there.  In fact, the entire week was fantastic and we've already started planning next summer's trip.
